‘The Walking Dead,’ Season 7, Episode 2: “The Cell”

Episode 3 of AMC’s The Walking Dead Season 7 is titled “The Cell” for a reason. The whole episode is about Daryl Dixon and how he can chose to stay in the cell or bow down to Negan.

Here’s what Daryl chose.

Episode 3 of The Walking Dead centers around introducing the audience — via Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) — to Negan’s rules.

Now, for some reason, Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) has chosen to break down Daryl, rather than kill him with Lucille. I guess it has something to do with the fact Negan would get a real ego kick out of breaking a person who only recently got a close friend murdered at the hands of Negan. After all, if Daryl caves, every time he looks at Negan, he will see Glenn (Steven Yeun) and what happened to him. More to the point though, I don’t think AMC are ready to kill Daryl just yet. After all, people might riot. Not me, or many that I know since Daryl got Glenn killed, but, you know, someone might still be excited to see Daryl naked in this episode. Even if it is just entry level cable naked. And, speaking of the naked, did you really need to grease him up AMC? Not even a greased, naked Daryl Dixon will get me to forgive him …
