Find Some 99 Cent Halloween Treats With the Myrddin Library of Horror!

The Myrddin Library of Horror Event 2016

Besides the awesome Halloween Scavenger Hunt I am participating in this year (which will occur on October 29, so make sure you check back here then), I have also included some of my books in the Myrddin Library of Horror promotion this Halloween! So that means that if you miss out on winning a copy of The Ring of Lost Souls in the scavenger hunt, you can purchase it for only 99 cents on Halloween.

So, what is the Myrddin Library of Horror promotion?

Well, besides myself, there are a few other authors at Myrddin Publishing Group who like to scare the crap out of people, so we have gotten together to offer a variety of genres that could all be considered scary. Some books are not completely horrific outright but will easily get underneath your skin, giving you a delicious sense of unease that we all need to experience on Halloween.

As well as the sale, a Facebook event will beheld on Sunday, October 30 (ET). This event will host the participating authors as they showcase their work. Feel free to join up at the event page here and drop by to ask them a question and participate in all the shenanigans.

All books in the Myrddin Library of Horror will be 99 cents during the promotion.

You can check out the participating authors and books below.

SIN

Sin by author Shaun Allan

Dead, dead, dead. Say it enough times and it becomes just another word.

What would you do? Could you kill a killer? Does the death of one appease the deaths of a hundred? What about that hundred against a thousand?

What if you had no choice?

Meet Sin. No, not that sort of sin, but Sin, crazy as a loon (you ask Sister Moon), and proud of it. Sin locks himself away in an asylum and, every so often, gets violent. That’s only so they’ll give him those nice drugs, though. The ones that help him forget.

It’s a pity they don’t work.

Sin, you see, has a serious problem. Well, it’s not so much his problem, as ours – yours, mine and everyone else’s. People die around Sin. He doesn’t like it and there’s nothing he can do about it. But someone else knows, and Sin has to stop them… and himself…

Flip and catch…

MR. COMPOSURE

Mr Composure by author Shaun Allan

“Once upon a time…”

All the best stories begin that way. Once upon a time, Jack climbed a beanstalk. Cinderella did go to the ball.

Once upon a time, his parents died.

You prepare for next year. You prepare for payback…

Specially commissioned by NBC Universal for the release of the film The Purge: Anarchy, MR. COMPOSURE is “simply superb” and ranked #1!

SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN

Suffer the Little Children by author Shaun Allan

Simon, Fey and Rebecca. An ordinary family trying to cope after the death of the girls’ mother. One day, Rebecca ‘gives’ her imaginary friend, Nathaniel, to her Simon, telling her father he can keep Nathaniel ‘forever’…

Then the phone appears. Then the lies begin. And the pain. And the faces in the photographs…

Simon asks Rebecca who Nathaniel really is. She tells him he prefers to be known by his nickname, ‘Mr. Boogie’…

Specially commissioned by Universal for the release of the movie sequel ‘Sinister 2’, SUFFER THE LITTLE CHILDREN is “genuinely terrifying!”

A DRY PATCH OF SKIN

A Dry Patch of Skin by author Stephen Swartz

The truth about being a vampire: It is not cool, not sexy. It’s a painful, miserable existence. Good reason to avoid that situation, thinks medical technician Stefan Székely. He’s too busy falling in love with TV reporter Penny Park. Until one day when she notices a dry patch of skin on his face. At first it’s just annoying, nothing to worry about, some weird skin disease he can treat with lotions. However, as his affliction worsens, Stefan fears that his unsightly problem will ruin his relationship with Penny. If only that was all Stefan has to worry about! He soon realizes there is a lot more at stake than his handsome face. To save himself, Stefan must go in search of a cure for the disease which is literally destroying him inch by inch. Considering they are on opposing sides of the uprising, Marli anticipates an easy task; ‘closure’ they call it. The fact that she can exact her revenge for his past discretions is just the icing on the cake.

When she arrives, the town has changed. The man she hated is unexpectedly welcoming. And the town’s folk—well, they’re just… different. Someone or something has transformed them all into a bunch of zombies. They appear to be harmless – but are they?

As she begins to uncover details of who may be behind the townsfolk’s’ metamorphosis, Marli is left fighting for the truth. Will she and Oscar be able to unravel the web of deception before it’s too late?

Should she trust her heart or her head? Which is less likely to get her killed?

Either way, METANOIA is a heart-stopping zombie apocalypse adventure that will keep you guessing at every twist and turn until the very end.
