Game of Thrones: Season 4 Episode 8 Preview Video

The Mountain and the Viper

HBO's Game of Thrones Season 4 Episode 8 (The Mountain and the Viper)Since it is the Memorial Day long weekend over in the states, we miss out on finding out who wins and who dies in Tyrion Lannister’s (Peter Dinklage) trial by combat that was fated in Episode 7 of HBO’s Game of Thrones last week.

So, since there is nothing to do but wait until Episode 8 (aptly entitled The Mountain and the Viper), here is the preview video to pore over until next week!

While Tyrion’s fate is our main concern at the moment, there looks to be many other interesting things happening in this clip:

  • Theon Greyjoy (Alfie Allen) is about to impersonate, well, himself.
  • Sansa (Sophie Turner) seems to be taking the moral high ground against Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen). That’s all good and well, but we all know how that turned out for her father, Ned Stark (Sean Bean)
  • The Wall appears to be under imminent attack, which makes Sam (John Bradley) cry and gets Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) all ‘I told you so, didn’t I just tell you so?!
  • We are reminded that there are only three precious episodes left of this season before we begin the long hard wait until HBO’s Game of Thrones Season 5!

What do you think will go down in Game of Thrones Season 4, Episode 8? Will Tyrion live? Will Sansa end up with her head on a spike? Can Theon convince the world that he really is Theon? And will Jon finally get the battle he’s been warning everyone about for so damn long?

  1. Did you see that the show has cast The Sand Snakes? They’re also scouting locations in parts of Spain as well.
